What is DTG?
DTG stands for Direct To Garment printing.
It is a process of printing on textiles and garments using specialized or modified ink jet technology. The three key requirements for a DTG printer are a way to hold the garment in a fixed position, an inkjet print head, and specialty inks (inkjet textile inks) that are applied to the textile directly by the print head, and are absorbed by the garment’s fibers.
Unlike heat stamping or iron on t-shirt printing, it yields better quality longer lasting prints and there’s almost no limit to the colors and fine detail you can use in your designs.
DTG inks are eco-friendly, CPSIA-compliant, non-toxic, non-hazardous, and soluble in water. They’re free from heavy metals, formaldehyde, and Alkylphenol Ethoxylates (APE).
All our garment printing is now produced using DTG printing, thus providing you with higher quality and more durable printing for your apparel.
